The pre-Assessment exam has been designed to measure current phlebotomy knowledge in those who which to apply for the Teaching Principles for Instructors of Phlebotomy course. It includes query on medical terminology, ethics, and the practice of phlebotomy. This pre-assessment is required prior to completing a full registration package for enrollment in this course.
The National Phlebotomy Association Certified Instructors Course pre-assessment is a two-hour timed examination which will be administered in a virtual environment online. The cost to register and sit for the pre-assessment exam is $50.00. This fee must be paid before participants can be scheduled to for the exam. Those local to Landover, MD may opt to complete written examination on site.
Once the application has been evaluated and the applicant has been found eligible for certification, the fees will then become non-refundable and non-transferable. If an applicant does not pass the proficiency examination, they will have to take the national boards and pay another certification fee. This policy will be strictly enforced.
